Solar Power GB Ltd are happy to retro-fit PV solutions to any building, there can however be numerous benefits to installing at point of build. These benefits can include but are not limited too;
Cost Savings –
With multiple trades on site it’s quite often the case that we can utilize pre-contracted scaffolding, engage with the on-site electrician to specify a suitable fuse board to connect PV too and in some cases install PV panels sunk into the roof reducing the overall cost of roof tiles. These all have the potential to reduce the installation cost of Solar PV.
Time Savings –
On a simple level, when the building is finished and signed off by Building control the new tenant can move and experience the benefits of PV straight away without having to lose extra days for us to arrive and install the system.
Aesthetic Brilliance –
In our experience integrating the installation of Solar PV at construction stage can give the installation a lot more subtlety and unification with the building. It presents an opportunity for cables to be hidden from sight, less equipment screwed to the walls or floors and the flexibility of picking more suitable potentially discreet locations for the equipment.
